KL Expats Unite for Charity Through Curry and Networking at the KL Curry Club

On Saturday we saw the return of The KL Curry Club, Monthly Expat Networking Event hosted by our Private Wealth Specialist Joshua Webley at Wedge:

"The KL Curry Club is becoming more and more popular throughout the expat community, as we have seen our members go from 29, to 43 to an amazing 68 members in our most recent CurryOke special event.

We had a special 'Taste of India' menu provided by the venue and 22 different nationalities had ventured from all over the globe from British, American, Australian and Belgium, right through to Guatemalan, Ecuadorian and Japanese. Everyone there to expand their network, enjoy the delights of Indian cuisine and sing into the night.

Our event was in sponsor of MAPPAC, who needed donations to help maintain 3 Malaysian Children's hospices, as well as build more. We managed to raise and donate RM1,245 to help them with their journey. That brings our grand total of donations to RM2,585 raised and donated between 3 separate charities.
