Joshua Webley

Private Wealth Specialist

Hello there, my name is Joshua. Originally from Doncaster in the U.K., I studied at Leeds Beckett University (formerly known as Leeds Met). Initially, I aspired to become a musician, mastering multiple instruments and performing on stages across the U.K. I wrote music for up-and-coming artists and supported some of the biggest names in the business. As time went on, I decided to explore the world beyond my hometown.

Within six days of this decision, I boarded a flight and never looked back. Over the past eight years, while working remotely in finance and insurance, I have lived in over 30 different countries. My travels have taken me from the beaches of Ko Samui to the vibrant spice markets of India and the majestic mountains of Morocco. These experiences provided me with global qualifications, an international network, and invaluable life lessons.

I chose to join Melbourne Capital Group in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, where I work closely with expatriates from Malaysia and Thailand. My focus is on helping them achieve their financial dreams, retirement goals, and providing extensive insurance coverage to protect their families. Through continuous learning and dedication, I have become the "go-to" specialist for expatriates and their families living abroad.

Feel free to reach out if you’d like to book a meeting at Melbourne Capital Group or need information about the expat networking events I run, such as Curry Club, ExpatriMates, and Pub Quiz.
