We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Private Wealth Manager to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, providing them with comprehensive financial planning services, and ensuring the preservation and growth of their wealth. This role requires a deep understanding of the financial markets, tax planning, and investment strategies, as well as a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of client service and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients, understanding their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.

Financial Planning:

Provide personalised financial planning advice, including investment management, tax planning, estate planning, retirement planning, and risk management.

Portfolio Management:

Develop and implement investment strategies tailored to each client's financial objectives, regularly reviewing and adjusting portfolios to ensure optimal performance.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure all financial planning activities comply with local regulations, including the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 and guidelines issued by the Securities Commission Malaysia.

Market Research:

Stay abreast of market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice and identify new opportunities for clients.

Client Reporting:

Prepare and present regular reports on portfolio performance, market conditions, and financial planning updates.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other members of the wealth management team, including client services, finance, and legal, to deliver a seamless and integrated client experience.

Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible for, or hold, a Capital Markets Services Representative’s Licence (CMSRL) under the Securities Commission Malaysia.
  • Must hold a Malaysian CFP or Malaysian RFP.
  • Must be a Malaysian citizen or permanent resident.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, financial regulations, and investment products.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with high-net-worth clients.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in Malay or Mandarin is an advantage.
