Melbourne Capital Group Sponsors St George's Society Centenary Gala

I had the pleasure of attending the St George's Society Centenary Gala Dinner, alongside members of Melbourne Capital Group’s team Jamie Bubb-Sacklyn, Jake Mowson, Luke White and Kazi Nishad. The event was held at the Royal Selangor Club in Kuala Lumpur, an exquisite venue that holds significant British colonial heritage in Malaysia. The historical backdrop added a special atmosphere and charm to the evening. 

It was fascinating to be amongst guests from around the world, including distinguished individuals like the British High Commissioner to Malaysia, His Excellency Charles Hay MVO, as well as prominent  business leaders, politicians, and members of the St George's Society. The event provided invaluable networking opportunities to connect with potential clients, partners, and like-minded professionals who share a passion for business and culture.

Seeing Melbourne Capital Group’s logo prominently displayed and receiving recognition from attendees was gratifying. It highlighted the positive impact of our previous community events and showcased the progress we've made over the past year. It was a delight to see our efforts culminate in such a grand Gala.

His Excellency Charles Hay MVO, emphasised the importance of the St George's Ball in promoting cultural exchange and fostering business relationships amongst the two nations. His words resonated deeply, reminding us of the importance of events like these in strengthening international ties.
