On Saturday, February 18th 2023, Melbourne Capital Group organised an event that was geared towards saving lives. Hosted as part of our wellness series and corporate social responsibility initiative, the CPR course was a massive success that left attendees equipped with essential life-saving knowledge.
The event was organised by our Private Wealth Managers, Jake Mowson and Luke White, who put together a team of CPR trainers, Peggy and Vivian from Hanniel Consulting. These experts were handpicked for their expertise and ability to deliver quality training that's easy to comprehend.
The course ran for four hours, and in that time, attendees were taken through the basics of CPR and first aid, including how to identify signs of cardiac arrest, choking, and other medical emergencies, with a specific focus on young babies and children. Peggy and Vivian were very hands-on and made the training interactive, ensuring that all participants were well-engaged and involved throughout the session.
Overall, the event was well-received, with a total of fifteen attendees walking away with life-saving skills that could make all the difference in emergency situations. All participants provided positive feedback, citing the trainers' professionalism and expertise as one of the highlights of the event.
As part of our corporate social responsibility initiative, we are committed to doing our part by providing practical life-saving knowledge that's accessible to all. We understand that being a new parent can be daunting, and having the skills to perform CPR in an emergency situation can make all the difference.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Peggy and Vivian from Hanniel Consulting for their outstanding efforts in delivering quality training that was informative, engaging, and practical.
We would also like to thank our Insurance partners at The Unisure Group for their generous sponsorship of the event.
Please keep an eye on our social media for our next CPR event, which will be in May and will be on a first come first served basis.Once again, we thank everyone who attended and participated in this life-saving training event.
