Starting Out: Journey to Finance

Hailing from the vibrant city of Sylhet in Bangladesh, my academic path has been a tapestry of hard work and ambition. After completing my ACCA qualifications, I embarked on a transformative journey to London, where I pursued a Master’s Degree in Finance and Accounting. Earning a distinction was a proud moment, and soon after, I found myself on the threshold of an exciting opportunity—a full-time graduate scheme with an esteemed international firm in the financial services sector.

A New Adventure: Embracing Dubai

The graduate scheme marked the beginning of a thrilling chapter in my career. For six exhilarating months, I was based in Dubai, a city known for its dynamic financial landscape. Immersed in intensive training, I delved deep into the intricacies of the industry, soaking up knowledge and experiences that would shape my professional outlook.

Expanding Horizons: Kuala Lumpur Awaits

Just as I was settling into Dubai, another exciting opportunity knocked: a chance to move to Kuala Lumpur and work alongside the country manager. Without a moment’s hesitation, I seized this adventure. In 2022, I joined Melbourne Capital Group in Kuala Lumpur, where my journey took off in remarkable ways. I set ambitious goals and embraced new challenges, ultimately rising to the role of Head of Business Development. My time in Malaysia has been a period of significant professional growth, and I eagerly anticipate the new experiences and challenges that await on this thrilling path ahead.

I cherish the moments spent with my family, exploring new places and creating lasting memories together. My passion for sports keeps me active and engaged, and living in Malaysia offers the perfect backdrop to balance both my personal interests and professional ambitions. The vibrant culture here has nurtured a healthy work-life balance, allowing me to thrive. Each experience has profoundly influenced who I am today— values instilled by my parents, living in different cities enriched my multicultural perspective, and shaped me into a financial professional with a truly global outlook.
